in the conference room of Days Inn in Mountain Grove, MO. Afternoon
sessions for all three days will be held in the pastures, working pens
and with the livestock of the Rockin H Ranch. A fantastic opportunity
to learn the ins and outs of a cow/calf operation hands on! All
sessions will be intense with plenty of question and answer time.
Gearld Fry will help you
learn how to select, breed, and manage a herd for health and performance
on grass and how to create gourmet beef.
Gearld has worked with cattle breeders for more than three decades,
having operated a reproductive center and is now serving as an
independent consultant. Much of his consultancy is based in ration
balancing and finding answers to livestock health and performance
problems in nutrition. He is familiar with all areas of traditional and
modern conventional breeding methods and is accomplished in embryo work,
pregnancy checking, semen collection and artificial breeding. He is
author of Reproduction & Animal Health and lives in Rosebud, AR,
with his wife, Margie. You can access Gearld's website at
www.bovineengineering.com.
Cody Holmes will reveal all
the details on the financial success of the Rockin H Ranch's
900-cow/calf operation in southern Missouri. From it's meager
beginnings over 35 years ago, Cody will explain the ins and outs of
growing a ranch in the modern agricultural arena of today. This is a
real time working ranch exhibiting real time current profit and loss
statements as an example for other cattlemen. Your livestock can
be the only machinery required for a sustainable ranch. Learn how
to discern between the essential inputs and all the others. If
you're working more than 3 to 4 hours per day on your family livestock
operation, chances are you are simply costing yourself into a deep,
dark, bottomless pit with a lack of planning as a root cause.
If you are serious about
turning your cattle operation into a profitable enterprise, take time to
schedule with us today.
You won't want to miss this fantastic opportunity!
