Chuck
Wagon Dinner Theater
Step
back in time with us as we portray the challenges and triumphs of the times
when the law was often taken into the hands of the citizens.
The Texas drovers are minding their
own while camped out with their herd of Longhorns near the small Missouri
town.
But the small Missouri town folk
don't want the Texans or their cattle anywhere around. After all, when
the Texans come through the territory, the Missouri cattle seem to end up
dead.
The local settlers are pressured by
both the Missouri and Texas cowboys to join their respective sides. Not
wanting to join in at all, they keep their distance until a band of
Cherokee show up demanding beef from the Texans in trade for camping on their
land.
Tempers flare, family loyalty is
challenged, and young romance will keep you
cheering for the good guys, whichever side you choose.
Come be entertained all evening by
members of the Missouri Cowboy Poets during our Pre-Dinner Show. An
auction to benefit our local Future Farmers of America will be held prior to
the Theater.
